This wonderful 7-3/8 x 10 inch, 310-pages hard cover photo book has count-less photos, illustrations, maps and statistics on the history of Berlin and of course an excellent chapter on the Berlin of Adolf Hitler! Many of the photos are impressive full page photos i.e. rare photos showing how the streets of the capital were decorated with huge columns with Nazi Eagles on top of them! The book was published 1943 by order of the government of Berlin and printed by the Spener Verlagsbuchhandlung in Berlin. The book is in very good condition and comes with the often missing fold out maps. The book contains very interesting photos of official Nazi buildings in the Reichshauptstadt like the Reichskanzlei (Reichschancellery) in the Voss-Strasse, the nearby Air State Ministry, among others as well as lots of ancient buldings. All in all a very interesting and hard to find original Third Reich book on the capital of Nazi Germany!
