This 6 x 8-3/4 inch, 48 page, very heavily illustrated softcover catalog is a complete original example (NOT a reprint) of the HEERES KLEIDERKASSE (Army Clothing Store) catalog of 1 May 1939.
The Army Clothing Store was located at Budapester Straße 28 in Berlin during the Third Reich, and worked something like any unit of the American PX system. This catalog lists, shows in photographs, and prices (in Reichsmarks - 1 RM = 40 US cents) all classes of officer’s uniforms as well as visor caps, field caps, belts and buckles, swords and cases, daggers, dagger hangers and knots, boots and shoes, gloves, shirts, collars, underwear, capes, overcoats in leather rubber and cloth, cap boxes, trunks, map cases, cap cords and insignia, insignia of rank and service, trunks, spurs, buttons, orders and medals, etc.
Name of owner, Becker, written on title page. Small Becker name stamp on the inside of the front cover as well.
Original catalogs like this one are of course, very rare 65+ years after they were issued.
It is in very good used condition and would make a wonderful addition to any uniform or militaria collection
